Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest.. and the shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen
Keeping Communion with Jesus

Come to the Lord's Table. Feast on His life and love for you.

Jesus said,
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.

Consider the ravens...
They neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?

Consider the lilies...
How they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!

And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.

“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.   Luke 12:22-34 esv

First Selection Musical Meditation from "Troubadour for the Lord" by John Michael Talbot
WORD STUDY: Man shall not live by bread alone (the bread on the plate) but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4

4487 rhḗma (from 4483 /rhéō, "to speak") – a spoken word, made "by the living voice" (J. Thayer). 4487 /rhḗma ("spoken-word") is commonly used in the NT (and in LXX) for the Lord speaking His dynamic, living word in a believer to inbirth faith ("His inwrought persuasion").

Romans 10:17: "So faith proceeds from (spiritual) hearing; moreover this hearing (is consummated) through a rhēma-word (4487 /rhḗma) from Christ"
Used exactly 70 times in the scriptures:  http://biblehub.com/greek/strongs_4487.htm

2 Minute WCFF-TV Show! Introduction to Consider the Lilies...
"My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you," Gal. 4:19

So are you ready to feed on the bread of heaven today and to drink from the river of life?

Have you prepared a small piece of bread and a sip of the fruit of the vine in a cup? Are you ready for Communion Today?

Below you will find our booklet entitled "Consider the Lilies" We always introduce our experience of Communion and CommunionFire with a little exercise that I will briefly explain here and that you can read about in detail in the booklet.
One word and you see with your eyes closed. That is because God has given you an imagination. You see something with your eyelids closed.

When we consider the ravens and lilies we have a visual of how God takes care of us. He even used a raven to feed the prophet Elijah!

He says don't focus on what is visible with natural eyesight but rather on that which cannot be seen! He uses the word, "seek" when talking about a new reality. It is the reality of His presence. where the King is you will find the Kingdom. in His Kingdom you will discover a life and lifestyle that will last forever.

the King has so much in His treasury He wants to share with you. Where can you meet with Him? At His Table. How does He open your eyes to see what He wants to reveal to you? By receiving with thanksgiving and prayer the meal of the bread of his Body and the wine of his Blood.

The miracle is that when you eat He opens your eyes to recognize Him. When you eat your hear what He wants to tell you.

So the bread and the wine is like the word "flower". Eyes closed you hear "flower" and see a flower. Eyes closed while you think about the bread you eat as His Body, you eat and you see! When you drink the wine as His Blood, you drink and you hear. Each day your communion with Him will fuel your heart with the treasures he shares with you. The more you receive from Him the more wealthy you become. Where your treasure is there your heart will be.

Look for Jesus eating the bread and listen for him drinking the wine. Have a blessed day.

"For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” reveals in our hearts as a gift, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

"For we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18

So as you receive the bread and wine with thanksgiving and prayer, as the Body and Blood of Jesus, He speaks to us in pictures and in words. He shows us through revelation us and by speaking to us by the whisper of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the WORD made flesh and He said if we eat His flesh life would come into us physically and spiritually.

Seek 1st the Kingdom by sitting down with the King. He will place His robe of righteousness on you. Then He will add 'all these things' to your life. He will share things with you. He will show you things. He will speak to you and fill you with new life. Every time you come to the Table He will be there waiting for you.

Second Selection Musical Meditation "Seek Ye First" (Written by Karen Lafferty)

This is what the LORD says: “I will go before you,and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron. And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness, secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name. “And why have I called you for this work? Why did I call you by name when you did not know me?

Please take a moment from time to time to leave a comment.
