A grain of faith in Communion becomes a feast of His presence in CommunionFire
Why We Need to Spend Time With Jesus at His Table Just As He Prescribed, "Do This." Because it is in His Presence Alone That Can Bring Transformation!

He Invites You for Who You Are, As You Are, Where You Are Right Now! Free access to His Goodness and Mercy! His Grace Begs Us To Come! He is waiting for you and can't wait to spend a few moments with you.

This is "What happens when you encounter CommunionFire through the act of faith called Communion?"

Just "do this" as JESUS requested. Sit at His Table and share His Body of life and Blood of life. Ask His blessing and then Eat the bread and drink the wine. The rest is up to Him. "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death." Romans 8:1-2 There is no law to condemn anymore. There is only the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus! He sets us free from the law of sin and death. Now He just wants us to feast in His presence.

When we do our faith grows stronger.
When we do we are feeding on the living bread.
When we do we are drinking from the cup of salvation.
When we do we are promised eternal life.
When we do He promises that He will raise us up in the last day!

Are those reasons enough?
Be still, wait... pause when you come to His Table.

Share the meal of the bread and wine on a regular basis. Then watch how this small activity that takes all of a few minutes grows from a tiny seed into a mighty tree where other can find rest and nest. The bread becomes a feast on the Bread of Life and the wine becomes a river of celebration overflowing in us and through us uenching all of our thirst for all He has done for us!  We becomes intoxicated with the truth of eternal life replacing the falsehoods of what is temporary. Thank God for His unspeakable gift!

Jesus gently leads us from the Act of Faith of Receiving Communion into His Glorious Presence. It Is There That He Reveals, Shares, Displays, Gives His Life to Us, Love, Joy and Peace.

There in your hands you hold the bread and the wine. You pray as you take it in your hand and place it in your mouth. You chew. Sometime during the act of faith, this bread becomes His flesh. You eat and He becomes a part of You! (John 6: 53-58, 1 John 1:1-5)

"Now Faith Is" Communion! Having Communion each day is a living in the "Now"! You are doing an act of faith by coming to the Lord's Table and eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus. Simple act of faith. Just "Do this."

In your hand you have the evidence of things not seen and you feed on the substance of things hoped for! (Hebrews 6:1)

In your hand you hold the Chalice of the New Covenant. You hold His promises as His 'beneficiaries' in your hand! By those great and precious promises we become partakers of His divine nature! (2 Peter 1:4) How?

"For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."

The law of the Spirit set you free from the law of sin and death! (That includes guilt, shame and condemnation. Its also a promise to heal your mind and heart of all that evil did to damage your life before you invited Jesus to forgive all your sins and take over your life.)

Moses had Tables of Stone but Jesus feeds us at His Table of Grace.

God wrote the Law on stone but Jesus shares His grace and truth by writing on the fleshy table of our hearts.

Moses had to wear a veil to protect those who looked upon him from dying when they saw God's glory on Him.
Jesus pulled back the veil to give us free access into His glory.

Israel had to have a one foot thick curtain between Israel and the Ark of the Covenant where God lived among them because if any man looked upon His glory He would die.  But when Jesus cried, "It is finished!" The curtain was torn in half from top to bottom by the hands of the Almighty.

Jesus gave us open access to God's glorious presence because Jesus satisfied the all demands of the law. He took our sin and God's judgment upon himself on the Cross in death that we deserved. Jesus made a way where there was no way for you and I to come to His Table and receive a simple piece of bread and a simple sip of wine and we are instantly transferred into His transforming, glorious presence!

He paid the price because you couldn't. He paid the price because He loved you just that much. He paid the price to set you free from self-effort, self-righteousness and selfishness.

He's already paid it all in full. He wants you to lay down and feed upon His life. He provides it. When you do it transforms you with such subtly and grace you are hardly aware of it until it begins to overflow in you and out from you to those around you!

"Faith results from listening (akoe), and listening (akoe) results through the words (rhema) of the Messiah." Romans 10:17

akoḗ – properly, hearing; used of inner (spiritual) hearing that goes with receiving faith from God (Romans 10:17), i.e. spiritual hearing (discerning God's voice; see also Gal 3:2,5)

"So faith proceeds from (spiritual) hearing; moreover this hearing (is consummated) through a rhēma-word (4487 /rhḗma) from Christ" (Gk text)

rhḗma (from 4483 /rhéō, "to speak") – a spoken word, made "by the living voice" (J. Thayer). 4487 /rhḗma ("spoken-word") is commonly used in the NT (and in LXX) for the Lord speaking His dynamic, living word in a believer to inbirth faith ("His inwrought persuasion"

When you hold and taste the bread of life and when you hold the cup and drink from the river of life you are acting in Now Faith. This produces transformation with such care, love and compassion you are not even immediately aware of the transformation taking place.
