CommunionFire: Encounters with Jesus
1 Corinthians 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: do this as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. (Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:14-23)

CommunionFire real experiences at the Table of the Lord
That night there was a massive storm, tornadoes, and the weather radar picture looked just like the vision the Lord gave Joe! Right after Communion we all prayed for Texas. The red (blood) was the storm area and the black was the heaviest part of the storm over Houston October 22, 2015. This was followed by a threat from Hurricane Patricia. Miraculously the predicted life threatening hurricane dissolve over Mexico before it ever reached Texas.

Witness on 9/21/16
Nine months after my car accident which resulted in several broken bones and other serious injuries, I fell and broke my elbow in my left arm. That was the good arm as I like to call it. During my recovery I went through many stages of feeling abandoned by God. Yesterday, I had a major breakthrough in understanding some of my suffering and in my prayer life.
Last night at Our weekly CommunionFire fellowship, during Communion, I heard the words ,
"deep calling to deep".
I did not realize that those words were part of Psalm 42 . As I read the Psalm I came to verse 11 and came into a deeper understanding of my misfortunes.
Verse 11: It shatters my bones when my adversaries reproach me, when they say to me every day, "where is your God"?
God is with me. He never left me. But the months of emptiness taught me to be patient and keep hoping that soon the emptiness will be over. It ended yesterday with a day filled with prayer and an evening with dear friends and CommunionFire.
Praise God and Bless His Holy Name!

Psalm 42
1 For the leader. A maskil of the Korahites.*
2 As the deer longs for streams of water
so my soul longs for you, O God.
3 My soul thirsts for God, the living God.
When can I enter and see the face of God?
4 My tears have been my bread day and night,
as they ask me every day, “Where is your God?”
5 Those times I recall as I pour out my soul,
When I would cross over to the shrine of the Mighty One,* to the house of God,
Amid loud cries of thanksgiving,
with the multitude keeping festival.
6 Why are you downcast, my soul;
why do you groan within me?
Wait for God, for I shall again praise him,
my savior and my God.
7 My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I remember you
From the land of the Jordan* and Hermon,
from Mount Mizar
8 Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your torrents,
and all your waves and breakers
sweep over me.
9 By day may the LORD send his mercy,
and by night may his righteousness be with me!
I will pray* to the God of my life,
10 I will say to God, my rock:
“Why do you forget me?
Why must I go about mourning
with the enemy oppressing me?”
11 It shatters my bones, when my adversaries reproach me,
when they say to me every day: “Where is your God?”
12 Why are you downcast, my soul,
why do you groan within me?
Wait for God, for I shall again praise him,
my savior and my God.
Ever prepared to share of His goodness, Jesus loves to see you eye to eye, to share and give us every good thing.
He is always smiling, loving, kind and gentle - Always!
He will never leave you or forsake you. He is not chasing us trying to keep up with us. He is always waiting for us to sit down and share His Table.
Jesus is always prepared for you. He looks for you. When you encounter Him and experience His love you become more and more the person he made you to be.
Its as though, for a moment, it is only Him and you. His presence is so compelling, that you know what Communion with the Son of God is like. One day He shares gifts and on another He is the great Shepherd. Healing happens and miracles are daily events.
CommunionFire at Pink Pineapple this morning!
160405 -- 10am-11:30am went very well! There was coffee and small pastries provided by the Pink Pineapple for our first meeting. We discussed the benefits of communion more than once per week Camille and I every morning, Mary every morning first thing and Karen in the evenings. Mary shared a very stirring story about a healing the Lord gave her about the Church through CommunionFire and Karen shared about her constant hunger and thirst for Communion after 3 years without it and then finding CommunionFire! Karen shared first after we shared the Table. In the bread she said she saw stacks of bundled wheat that kept multiplying and eventually went on forever. In the wine she saw Jesus in a little row boat, standing with one hand on the mast and one hand reaching out and He said to Karen, "Walk to me!" Mary shared that with the bread of His Flesh she had a sense of awe and peace. then in the wine of his Blood she saw a wreath covered with 12 manner of fruit from the Tree of Life! Bob immediately saw "lace" like Queen Anne's flower and the Lord said "This bread I have blessed is not of this world." Then in drinking the sip of wine, I immediately saw the jawbone of an ass - like the one Samson had - and the Lord said again, "This drink is not of this world!" (Its funny that I couldn't remember what I saw when I drank the sip of the wine of His glorious blood - but when I got home there was a message from a friend of mine across the pond who said the scan he was going in for was not major but had to do with his jaw! Then I remembered what the Lord showed me in the wine!) Already thanking the Lord for answered prayer before I even asked!!! |
