​STARTING YOUR NEW LIFE WITH JESUS CHRIST

Step 1 – God loves you and has a plan just for you!

The Bible says,
“God so loved the world that
He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ],
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life”
(John 3:16).

Jesus said, “I came that they may have life
and have it abundantly”
—a complete life full of purpose
(John 10:10).


But here’s the problem:

Step 2 – Man is sinful and separated from God.
We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls “sin.”

The Bible says,
“All have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23).

​The result of sin is death,
or, eternal separation from God
(Romans 6:23).


The Good News?

Step 3 – God sent His Son to die for your sins!
Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives!

“Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. …
He was raised on the third day,
according to the Scriptures”
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Jesus is the only way to God.
He is the true bridge over the chasm that separates us from eternal life.
He conquered death so you could enjoy a personal relationship with him forever.
He came to set you free from the demands of sin to receive His life right now!

Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, [His mercy, love and eternal life]
but through Me” (John 14:6).


Step 4 – Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?

We can’t earn our salvation by being holy or good;
we are saved by God’s gift of grace
when we place faith in His Son, Jesus Christ
who came to demonstrate His love
and then to take your place for the death sin brings.
All you have to do is believe that because of sin,
Christ loved you so much that He died for you.  
Receive His forgiveness.

Then turn to the embrace of Jesus by faith.
He knows you and loves you where you are,
as you are
for who you are.
What matters to Him is sharing your heart
and you receiving His love,  
it begins when you realise what your life is like without Him
and then finding relief He gives to you 
through the power of forgiveness and mercy He offers.

Do you want a new life?
A  life with meaning and eternal purpose?
Then let Jesus set you free
from all your guilt, shame and condemnation
through His love, mercy and forgiveness.
Just pray to accept Jesus Christ as Savior
and make Him Lord in your life 
 and you will receive His complete forgiveness right now,
a new life starting today
and the promise of eternal life today.

Pray, believing as best you can out loud or even as a whisper...

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner,
and I ask for your forgiveness.
I believe you died for my sins
and rose from the dead.
I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.
Guide my life and help me
to follow you and do your will.
In your name my Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, 
Amen.”

Did you pray this prayer?

Then consider what just happened:

Behold, I stood at the door of your heart 
and knocked... [and called your name].
Then because you heard My voice and opened the door,
I came in when you prayed
to dine with you, and you with Me.  
You overcame [the old world through believing]
[that I, Jesus am the Son of God who died for your sin debt], 
So I will give to you [the gift] to sit and dine with Me
[To share Communion with Me]
[Forever!]
Revelation 3:20 

And what will Continue to happen

Therefore because you are in Christ
[that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as your personal Savior],
You are a new creation [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit];
The old [world] things
[your previous moral and spiritual condition]
is passing away and all things become new!
[because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
