What The 21 Mnemonic 3:16 "Three Sixteens" Of The New Testament Tell Us ~ Part Nine: James

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you. No Jesus No Peace Know Jesus Know Peace
Part Nine: James 3:16
"
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing." (17-18 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.)

This disturbing verse of scripture sets the backdrop for recognizing the presence of the Lord and activity of the holy Spirit. The lower wisdom is no wisdom at all. It is the folly of sin and selfishness. In CommunionFire we recognize from glory to glory an ever clearer perception of the presence of the Lord. When we encounter the Lord He is first peaceable, gentle, reasonable and full of mercy. There is no hypocrisy, sarcasm, cynicism or sense of jealousy. Sometime Communion is confronted by spiritual or demonic distractions, Sometimes fleeting thoughts rise up to hinder our experience with the Lord but once the bread of life is eaten and swallowed the grey clouds of distraction burn away because the enemy flees when Jesus shows up. The fire of His glory (or clarity of His presence) is so dominant that darkness flees, oppression lifts, frustration subsides and any  attack of distraction is swept away.

KEY to the understanding the Nature of Evil is that jealousy is at the heart of every evil work. Jealousy is what inflamed the persecution of Jesus and His Followers: They were “Filled with Jealousy" James 3:16

“Filled with Jealousy” was the toxic drink of those that caused the Christ followers to be placed in jail Acts 5:17. Led by the High Priest, the Sanhedrin was filled to the brim with volcanic jealousy. It was a seething jealousy that imprisoned their hearts and minds. It was a human induced communion of intoxicating self-righteousness, hatred, variance, anger and rebellion that flooded their ability to reason. This was a clear sign that persecution is rooted in the Satanic hatred for God’s glory.

John 11:40 “Only believe and you will see the glory of God!” When the glory of God shows up, believing eyes are opened to see Jesus and to hear His voice. That is what Lucifer rebelled against. He hates God and wants to rob Him of glory. A moment later Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Some say that when Jesus said, “Lazarus, Come forth!” that He had to say ‘Lazarus’ or all the dead would have come forth! The power of God demonstrates the glory of God. His glory is the target of all persecution to this day and becomes the cause of evil to persecute to the death.

Jealousy is the root of the hatred, rebellious behavior, persecution and ultimately death of the martyrs. It was the reverse mirror image of passion and fire for sharing God’s love in the Gospel. The glory of God is the “fire” in CommunionFire. It is filled with the language and message of heaven. It reveals the eternal presence of Jesus and transforms lives from glory to glory. Jealousy is the exact and complete opposite – opposing and challenging God like Ananias & Sapphira.

In the Greek, the word is zḗlos (an omamopoeic term that mimics the sound of water bubbling over from heat and perhaps derived from 2204 /zéō, "to boil") – properly, burning emotion (inner feeling boiling over, "boiling from heat," J. Thayer); (figuratively) something very fervent ("red-hot") as with Spirit-fueled zeal to serve the Lord. This root (zē-) is used both negatively ("jealousy") and positively ("zeal") depending on the context. [The root (zē-, "zeal") literally means "hot enough to boil." It is metaphorically used of "burning anger, love, zeal" (A-S) – i.e. to burn (in spirit). It can refer to "boiling anger, love, zeal, for what is good or bad" (J. Thayer).]

James 3:16 clarifies the difference between the insidious manifestation of self-righteous, jealousy and the more dominant eternal righteousness of Christ's passion for us. One creates disorder and every evil thing and the other creates righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

But the wisdom from above is pure;
Then peaceable and gentle
and reasonable,
full of mercy and good fruits,
unwavering, without hypocrisy.

She wrapped The Bread of Heaven in His purpose - the swaddling clothes of His death and laid Him in the (stone carved manger, the grain trough) like the bed of His (destiny) in the tomb. God sent Him into the world to die for our sins that we might know God's love. He was "born of a virgin" but was first "sent by God". “God Gives Glorious Good Gifts” Part Three

Isaiah 45:3 "I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.”

What greater event in all of creation? The night baby Jesus came into the world.

God so loved the world that He gave (The Gift) his only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have (gift) of everlasting life. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift.

The night Jesus was born, it was dark.

Then The Word became Flesh in a barn in Bethlehem. Heaven's light split the darkness. The light of a heavenly star was set in place by God for the occasion. Its light turned the night into day. It was all about The Greatest Gift of all He was sending to confirm His love to each one of us.

400 years of darkness since the glory of God had been seen in Israel when God added an angelic host bathed in the glory of the starry light. 400 years of silence was dispelled by the angels as they gave a command performance for the new baby King. The event was billed as "A Heavenly Symphony for the New Born King" featuring heaven's favorite, "Hosanna to God the Highest" and "On Earth Peace to Those of Good Will!"

God was revealing His hand for making the gift of eternal life possible for all who believe that Jesus, His only begotten Son, was given. The Bread of Life was laid in the feeding trough where the God's critters would come to feed on the grain.

Tonight, the King was born to give His life as the demonstration of God's great love for us. Jesus was born in a town whose name means "House of Bread and Wine". The Shepherd King was also born to become the Good Shepherd, like his father King David. The Son of God also became the Son of man on earth to all the sheep and lambs who would follow Him. From now on the Lord would lead us to His Table which He prepared to provide eternal sustenance to all who believe and receive and follow Him.

At the Communion Table we learn know the Shepherd's voice. We also learn how much He can't wait to share with us all He has prepared for us. Those who He calls by Name understand that darkness is simply our blindness. Communion is where the Lord opens our eyes to recognize Him. Darkness is our ignorance about places we don't know anything about. There are secret places where Jesus hides those things He wants to share with us, where He feeds us with hidden manna. When we come into the light of His presence we begin to see things clearly. In His light there are no shadows. Our stare into darkness becomes light when we partake of the bread and the wine and Jesus reveals Himself to us. Like the darkness of that quiet night in Bethlehem, when we come to the feeding trough of Jesus, Heaven's light shines on us and our ears open to hear the heavenly host singing "Hosanna in the Highest!"

John 15:13-15 "Greater love has no one than this that one lay down his life for his friends.” You are My friends if you do what I command you (Do this. Commune with me. Seen what I show you and listen to what I tell you. Let Me lead you into My Kingdom.). "No longer do I call you slaves/students or disciples, for the slave/student/disciple does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have revealed to you.”

John 16:19 "Jesus said to them, "Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, 'In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me'?"

John 10:2-5 The one who enters by the gate is the Shepherd (Jesus) of the sheep. The gatekeeper (Holy Spirit) opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

Isaiah 49:1 Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my mother's womb he has spoken my name.

Exodus 33:17: And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
How I Discovered The Treasures and Gifts the Lord Provides in Every Verse of Scripture!

A Gift or Treasure from each verse of Luke Chapters 1-2
At the end of each verse, a gift is revealed, introduced as:

"God Gives Glorious Good Gifts of ______"

My approach is to read each verse.
Then I look to the Lord to open up His gift or treasure in each verse.
Then I highlight the part of the verse the Holy Spirit highlights to me.

Then I describe the Gift or Treasure in a word or two
.

Luke One: Each of 80 Verses, Reveals 80 Gifts & Treasures
The First 12 Verses as Unwrapped by the Holy Spirit to Me

1 "FORASMUCH as many have written in hand trying to properly tell the story of the things that have been accomplished among us;"
God Gives Glorious Good Gifts:
The Gift "To Properly Tell The Story Of What the Lord Has Accomplished In The Midst"

Verse One Example:
The Gift Revealed applies to me/you personally.
The Lord reveals the gift of: Properly telling His Story.

The Holy Spirit is the Best Bible Teacher. He reveals the treasure within scriptures to us. When He does the scriptures breathe life into us and make us alive spiritually.

How? Because we learn every day in Communion you become a First-Hand Witness to what Communion with the Lord is like. In Communion's fire (His glory) He shares His life with you in a personal, intimate way as though it is only you and He in the universe. He shows us what He has prepared and speaks gently to us. He shares what is lovely to give us a good report. Having learned this in Communion with Him we are now prepared to experience how Communion is extended through the Scriptures.

Tomorrow: Each Sentence of His Story contains More Gifts and Treasures - He doesn't transform us by our strength, effort, commitment and discipline but in His glory He fills and floods the 'empty handed lives who sit down with Him with eternal goodness and mercy. By receiving all He has prepared for us by virtue of His grace and gifts we are transformed from one level of glory to another. "Every good and perfect gift comes down to us from the Father of lights."

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Lets see... Is this a hard choice? Work for the Paycheck of Sin and Death or... Open my hands to receive The Gift of Eternal Life
“God Gives Glorious Good Gifts” Part Two

Receiving Gifts & Treasures in Communion
with Him and from Him Every Day

You've begun the relationship and He invites us to "Do This" to continue what He started when you first heard Him knocking at your door. Born again you need to feed to grow. As a new creation in Him you need to know Him to grow in Him like a branch grafted into Him as the Vine of Life. Baptized in the Spirit and His Fire you are prepared to move from the temporary life into the eternal life; the prison of sin and death into the freedom of forgiveness; the old natural life into the super natural life and from want, need and dependency on others to total peace in the arms of Jesus.

Jesus says to all of us "Come To Me. Come and See."

The bread of His Flesh + The wine of His Blood at His Table = The Gift of Communion to all who will hear His voice and follow Him to the Table He has prepared for you. Communion reveals the CommunionFire or the Glory of Jesus and His presence.

It is the fire like clarity of a diamond, where ours eyes are opened and we recognize Him. It is a new window where the Holy Spirit pulls back the curtains to reveal Jesus and His Kingdom. It is the curtain torn in half from top to bottom in the Temple to allow anyone who want to come into His presence. It is the curtain on the stage of the Testimony/Story of Jesus that is pulled back to show the next Act of our new creation. It is the veil of the Law that blinds us that is removed to share the magnificent glories of grace that rain down like hidden Manna and pours out like the river of life.

It is to be hidden in Jesus and Jesus residing in us that produces the hope of continuing, ongoing encounters with His Glory (the light and fire of His presence). This glory is where He appears. It is where we see Him and recognize Him. It is where we dine with Him. It is where He shares his, life, love, gifts, treasures and wealth with us. In His glory we are transformed from glory to glory. We become one with Him and by virtue of our oneness with Him we encounter communion with one another in Him.

The word of the Spirit is the Pneumatic Rhema Word. The Word of Life is Jesus. Jesus, the Logos Word of Life became flesh and was named Jesus.

His Holy Name is above every name and once The Word became Jesus, anyone who says His Name with a believing heart is saved from the penalty of death by sin, delivered from the grip of the temporary life of this world and set free to live eternal life with Jesus.

Then there are the Scriptures of the Old Covenant and New Covenant a miraculously written set of Books that make one book for all who read to discover the story of God. All scripture is called the Graphe Word (pen and ink). From Genesis to Revelation all Scripture is given to do one thing: Reveal Jesus. There is no other reason for scripture. Every verse points in some way to Jesus revealing His Story, nature, character, relationship with and within God and every aspect of natural and spiritual creation. One is temporary and one is eternal. Jesus is eternity. He is love. He is indivisible and is worthy of all thanksgiving, praise, worship and adoration. Only in Him do we find life.

In the scriptures you think you have life but only the Holy Spirit can instruct you and lead you into and through the Scriptures. He is the ink God used to write in the hands of those given the gift of the journey and journal of Jesus.

So this series is to address the Miracle of revealing the gifts, treasures, wealth and riches of Jesus and how you too can discover His gifts when you encounter Communion with Jesus at the Table of His Word.

The Table of the Lord is our everyday destination after the first three gifts of Salvation, Water Baptism and encountering Jesus as the only one who can, will and wants to Baptize you in His Holy Spirit and Fire.

Those are quick, single, life-changing moments in your personal salvation history. This is how Jess threads the needle to weave you into His story to have daily, ongoing, first-hand experiences by spending a few minute with Him each day. In your personal time and space with mustard seed belief you receive His primary gifts that empowers you new life in Him. Jesus always supplies and equips us with all we will ever need to live in His reality by feeding on His presence receiving the presence of His peace.

Now, each day, we spend our new eternity waking up to His mercy new every morning. He crowns us each day with His loving kindness. He awakens us to a new day that He created to fill our hearts with gladness, thanksgiving and praise. Then we come to His Table to share a 5 minute, life-changing meal where Jesus wants to share His gifts and treasures every time we sit down with Him.

Are You Ready to Receive ALL That Jesus Has Prepared for You?
You Accepted Jesus and Now Jesus Accepted You

The Second You Believed and Received The FREE GIFT of His Total Acceptance, You Were Given to Jesus by His Father. When Life unwrapped you, Jesus said, "Thank you Father!" and He began to love you, call your name and knock on your door! The moment you believed and said His Name He came into your life.

His Gifts & Treasures are what Transform us!
Jesus Accepts Us Where We Are with no Demands
He Loves Us For Who We Are Right Now
And He Accepts Us As We Are And Shares All He Has With Us

To live out that new life from that moment on we come to the Lord’s Table to be nourished with His Body and Blood as a means to encounter the clarity/fire/heat/glory of His presence. There He shares by showing and by speaking. He reveals Himself and communes/shares/fellowships with us in a brief moment and that moment fills our day with ‘daily bread’ of life. Sometimes that bread is found within the verses of the Scriptures that the Holy Spirit breathes on. He brings the scriptures to life to reveal Jesus:
  1. Personally by causing what we read to instantly plant something meaningful in our heart.
  2. One-on-One, it is intimate and He knows who you are, by name and how to speak in such a way that you know that you know that you know it is Him. His sheep know His voice and they will not follow another.
  3. First Hand: faith is a first-hand experience. Your faith grows from faith to faith. It is ever-increasing faith that is like seeds of His Word (Who He is as we encounter Him) watered and warmed by ongoing encounters with Jesus and experiences with the Holy Spirit.
  4. Where we are: It doesn’t matter where you are geographically, mentally, spiritually – Jesus will be found everywhere. He pursues you with precision mercy and ongoing never-ending love.
  5. As we are at that moment in our life. There is no departure from Jesus once you have been in His embrace. He makes you one with Him. You cannot be divided from Him because you have become a part of Him. How much you experience His love is found at His Table and how much you are found in the Spirit is your eyes, ears and heart being directed by Him.

The Gifts, Treasuries, Wealth and Riches of the Kingdom of Heaven are ALL to be found in His presence when spending time with Him at His Table.

The Scriptures open up to us to give us an eternal point of reference about what He has prepared for those that love Him.

Ephesians 2:4-9 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses and sin, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Gifts and Treasures from Heaven is how the Lord generously shares His life and love with us, transforms us and floods us with so much mercy and goodness we can't help but share his with others.

CommunionFire Reveals A Gift or Treasure in Every Encounter

God never changes his mind when he freely gives gifts or when he calls someone.
“God Gives Glorious Good Gifts” Part One

In CommunionFire we encounter greater and greater heavenly landscape, waterscape, peoplescape and heartscape. Greater and greater wonders and signs that Jesus brings from darkness into the light of our day and treasures are every day occurrences. His ocean of love becomes more and more relevant and the waves of grace constantly washing into the shorelines of our hearts wash us with newness and freshness. Faith to faith His flesh and blood in us make us stronger and stronger. The present love and life of Jesus opens our eyes to how much He wants to share with us. His glory opens our ears to hear His voice as His blood courses into ours to transform us with heaven's transfusion. He speaks to us of what is good, true, just, honorable and good report. If their is any virtue or any praise we feed on these things when we are with him.

In His Glory Jesus Gives Good Gifts of Eternal Grace

In this series I want to share with you about a principle that has evolved in our recent CommunionFire Experiences with the Lord. The Lord Jesus is in every scripture and in every verse of scripture there is a gift or treasure He wants us to see and recognize. When we find it and open it with Him, He will also unwrap its wonders and mysteries to us. Those who have communion daily or at least four times a week will understand this. If you don't, then try it and soon you will understand that in Communion, the veil is pulled back to encounter the Fire Jesus wants to share with us.

Sit down with Jesus. He has so much He wants to share with you.

Introduction
Be Prepared to Experience Christmas Every Day!
In His Presence are Daily Presents

With His Life He Paid so Every Gift is FREE!

The First Three Gifts
At Your Door: The Gift of Salvation
In Waters of Baptism: The Gift of the New Creation
Ask & Receive: The Gift of the Holy Ghost & Fire

Led by the Holy Spirit in Communion the Lord showed me there is at least one gift in each verse of scripture. So, at this time of year I chose to embark on a new journey in Luke 1-2 where we ‘see’ the Word made flesh, or the Celebration of Christmas or first Coming of Christ. As I read each verse I leaned on the Holy Spirit to reveal what is otherwise concealed to me. Watching the scriptures coming to life is because the Holy Spirit unwraps the gift or treasure within. It is spiritual behavior of the Holy Spirit I have learned by being in Communion with the Lord every day for the past three years. As you experience constant communion your life becomes Communion-centric on morsal and one sip at a time. Every time we come to the Table He opens our eyes to recognize something Jesus has prepared for us through the broken veil of the Bread of His Flesh. Each sip quietly unfurls a message. We learn to recognize His whisper. It is the voice of the Lord. He doesn't shout he speaks like the whisper of the wind or the babble of a brook. Every moment is saturated with the reality of His presence and in His presence there are daily presents!

This principle is supported throughout scripture. As in Communion and CommunionFire – we come empty handed to His Table to receive what the Lord has prepared for us. What He reveals and says to us always comes as gifts/treasures/riches and from His storehouse of promises. They are for signs and wonders to direct our heart, head, hands and feet into His glory and grace.

What is hidden is revealed. What is invisible is made visible. What is under cover is uncovered. What is given as a gift is unwrapped by the Lord and whatever He gives to us is enabled and powered by Him. What He promises He fulfills. By these we become partakers of His divine nature – His nature.

When the Waves of Grace sent by His Ocean of Love recede, they leave countless objects of his love for us.

Gifts on the shoreline. Packages from heaven beautifully wrapped waiting on the beach to be discovered, opened and received. On the beach, in the land of promise, in the green pastures of restoration and any place on the map in the Kingdom of Heaven, the landscape is filled with beautiful gifts waiting to be opened. There are treasures hidden the Lord wants to reveal. There are people, places and things awaiting us. There are not a few hundred angels and saints in heaven, there are billions! There are not a few gifts, treasures and riches ready for you to receive, they are countless.

If you don’t want them, there are others who do. Eternal life is about Jesus sharing everything He has with us. By sharing with Him we collapse ever more deeply into His eternal embrace. It begins with believing. At that moment He gives you His Gift of Eternal Life starting right now! Then with the other believers we are buried with Him in the watery grave of baptism only to rise up a new creation in Him.

Then Jesus offers all who want all He has His power to baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire with the miraculous ability to immediately speak heaven’s language. The tongues of angels is the language of heaven, the saints and all the angels. It is the New Covenant language that allows us to pray perfectly. It is the language of praise and worship that is expressed without limit. Deep groaning to the unleashing of the gifts of the Holy Spirit to expressing intercession that is in symphony with the ongoing intercession of Jesus at the right hand of the Father.

Believe and Receive:

The Gift of Salvation;

The Gift of following Jesus into the Waters of Baptism
to Die with Jesus and be Raised up with Him
to Begin the New Creation;

The Gift of being Baptized by Jesus in His Holy Ghost and Fire

Now what?

This was a Campus Crusader who wanted Early Church authenticity - I was called into the ministry under the street preaching of this wonderful Man of God in Berkeley, CA in 1971. He was a founder of God's Love household for Street Christians, the publisher of the Jesus People's Movement called "Right On" and through an amazing series of transformations throughout his ministry He was a founder of The University of Orthodox Theology (now called St. Athanasius Academy of Orthodox Theology) and oversaw the creation of The Orthodox Study Bible before the Lord moved him to his new address in heaven. Thanks Fr. Jack N. Sparks, Ph.D The Witness of Jack and his estimed Associates from Grace Haven Farms, New Covenant Apostolic Order, The Evangelical Orthodox Churches and theis eventual assimilation into the Antiochian Orthodox Church of America is truely one of the Great Church Histories of the 20th and 21st Century.

Another significant influence in my life is the life and ministry of Winkey Pratney. His lifelong commitment to the study and application of Revival as both an apologist and polemicist raised the bar for me and he accomplished what I only dreamed - to Produce the Revival Study Bible. He has also been an intrinsic Man of God from the days of the Jesus People Movement and a part of my experience as a visiting teacher at Christ for the Nations in Dallas in 1975 and one of the principles in Y.W.A.M. Youth With A Mission that has had a direct impact on my sister, daughters, nephews and grandchildren. Thanks Brother Winkey for the legacy you have deposited into my life and the life of so many others.
