For 2 Minutes: Put Down the Bible, Stop the Praying, Turn Off the Media And Remember: Jesus Is Waiting At His Table For You To "Do This"

We Present Bread & Wine And When We Ask Him To Consecrate It A Miracle Happens
Two Minutes That Will Change Church Life and Culture As We Know It. If we neglect what Jesus invited us "to do" then no matter what all your 'faith' activities are, you have no life in you.

The Bible Studies are IMMENSE! The Worship is Good Enough for Carnegie Hall. The Prayer is around the clock, global and powerful! The Seminars, Conferences and International Media are more than anyone could ever afford. There is more Christian research, history, theology and documentation of faith, revival and miracles available within reach than at anytime in human history. All that I describe to this point is REAL. It is also guided by self-effort, 2nd to 7th hand experiences based on what other have said that others have said that others have said. That's why we say, "Did you ever hear about (insert your favorite faith-building story)"

BUT IT MUST ALL COME TO A GRINDING HALT OR NONE OF IT MEANS ANYTHING!

Self-Centric or Communion-Centric? (and if you say "Jesus-Centric" you've properly defined why Jesus said to, "Do this to remember" lest you forget your personal, intimate encounter with Him at His Table) He is the Bread and the Wine - when He consecrates it: The Bread becomes Him and the Wine becomes Him. That is The Miracle of CommunionFire - then come the Miracles in CommunionFire. When you partake His flesh is kneaded into yours and when you drink Him in, His Blood ignites yours with new life.

Our Life Comes From Him. Our Personal Life, Life Groups, Worship Services, Missions, Bible-Study, Design of the Sanctuary and Worship Media, Prayer and Faith Must Become Communion-Centric or It Is Lifeless! There is Only One Food and Drink That Feeds Us with Eternal Life and the Promise that He will Raise Us Up on The last day. Jesus Prepares the Table and The Meal and He IS The Meal!

"Christ in you the hope of glory."
"Your life is hid with Christ in God."
"It is no longer you that lives - but Christ who lives in you!"
"Just believe and nothing shall be impossible to you!"
21 meals a week to keep going physically each day? 1 meal a day with Jesus to keep you going spiritually - forever? You gorge and slather to get to the physical meal but 5 minutes with Jesus means a raging spiritual warfare that leaves you with the excuse - 'well, I'll have Communion tomorrow?" Tomorrow? You mean daily Communion? Is your relationship, one-on-one with Jesus a dent in your schedule or the power that drives your schedule.

What's your priority? He has set the place for you at His Table. He has prepared something especially for you. Its a gourmet encounter that starts in the natural with bread and wine; continues in the faith realm with His Body and Blood; and then reveals His glory full of grace and truth so that you might see Him as He is and hear what He wants to tell you. One piece of bread multiplies with fullness, blessings and healing forever and one sip of wine becomes the power of your eternal life blood as Jesus gives you His peace.

Communion (going through the motions because we're supposed to and there is nothing more to communion than just eating a wafer. If you don't believe then why are you going through the motions? Communion is about believing!)
Otherwise it is just: temporary, natural and physical.

But Receiving and Believing You Encounter the Lord of Heaven and His Holy Spirit Personally!

CommunionFire (Believing what Jesus said)
Then Communion Becomes: Eternal, Supernatural and Spiritual

He that eats the real food of my flesh and drinks the real wine of my Blood has life, eternal life and I will raise you up in the last day. If you don't believe when you eat, you have no life in you. John 6:53-56

Got Communion?
If you do... do you believe when you receive?

When you partake and eat; Be still for 60 seconds. During that time look for Jesus. What He shows you will be clear.
When you partake and drink: Be still for 60 seconds. During that time listen for a still small voice.

After: write down your encounter and share it with someone else. Then begins the heavenly conversation and you will understand all that we write about here.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (When receiving the bread and wine and believing the miracle of the Body and Blood in Communion) "We all see the veil removed. Then we behold a clear picture of the glory of the Lord. In it we see His image and are transformed by it from glory to glory. This happens from the Lord who is the Spirit."

CommunionFire On Pentecost Under Surfside Pier

"Those who sleep among the sheep found treasures: Doves with wings of silver and feathers of gold."
Psalm 68:13

My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet (pleasant), and your face is lovely (our eternal home, the place of the sheep, comely… calming). Song 2:14

In CommunionFire the power of the Lord is there to exchange past memories for making new memories.

Jesus invited us to His Table to “Do this to remember Him”. He removes and heals past and present memories to create new ones.

The Flesh of the Lord feeds us with healing, revelation and supernatural strength. The power of the Blood refreshes us, awakening us to a new day in the Spirit. Communion connects us to The Lord and eternal life. As we eat and drink in what the Lord has for us. He continues to transform us in His glory from glory to glory.

“The Holy Spirit will show you all things and bring to your remembrance everything I have told you.” John 14:26

I was led to share about the power of Communion to cut off tags that control our life unless they are detached from us. Like social networking, the enemy has been busy tagging you your whole life - like a bully. You may still wear tags from your childhood or even new ones placed on you this morning. "You're stupid, a failure, an idiot, no good, shameful, unworthy of the Lord and Communion?" These tags curse the work of the Cross and lie saying, “What Jesus did was not enough.” The Lord said that during Communion today He would be taking His pruning shears to cut the tags off of our lives that continue to plague us with doubt, fear and unbelief. The Lord promised to show His power today to those at His Table.

Picture
Bob: In the bread I saw the Lord using the Sword of the Spirit to cut off the tag of my artificial intelligence (as if releasing me from a decayed, past way of thinking) so that I could more clearly have the Mind of Christ! Then in the wine I saw Jesus to my right on the beach - He appeared to be 500 feet tall and I heard the song from Psalm 48: "Great is the Lord” I learned this as a song at Solomon’s Porch Coffee House in 1972. Big brother in the Lord, Russ, taught from this Psalm and then about singing the Psalms because they were all songs written on Mount Zion.  43 years later I “remember” the same song but now Jesus is 500 times bigger and greater! Now I know and believe He has the power to cut off my artificial intelligence! Alleluia!

So in my encounter today, Jesus 1) created a memory with me today by cutting me free of artificial intelligence to allow me greater clarity of faith in having the mind of Christ and then 2) He gave me a glimpse of how much our relationship had grown from a specific “remembrance” from 43 years ago! Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of Me” and that He would send the Holy Spirit to bring all things to our remembrance when we respond to His invitation to have Communion. When we “do this’ then He “does that”!

Picture
Ronnie: In the bread of life saw huge banners in her life being cut down and one was depression. Once cut down Jesus crumbled them up in his hands and threw them away from me. (When Jesus cuts down the huge tag of depression, crumples it up and throws it away, Ronnie was set free to enjoy His constant joy!) In the precious Blood I heard a song from my past too. It was "Peace I Leave with you my Friends." In Communion the Lord makes our memories new again. He re-creates memories with us from our past and new memories in the present and even ‘shows us things to come’

“The Holy Spirit of truth comes to guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is to come.” John 16:13!

Picture
Karen: Eating the Bread of Life I heard the words, "I am the wind beneath your wings." I thought, “Hey! That was a song too! By Bett Midler I think.” It was very windy during Communion and the Lord said He was the wind that lifted me up. Then drinking from the Cup of Salvation; “With my eyes closed, I didn’t see the birds but just the shadows of 2 birds." Someone said they opened their eyes about that time for a split second and saw two birds physically hovering over top of Karen in the strong wind.

Karen was reminded by the presence of wind about the power of the Holy Spirit to lift her up! The bird shadows seen with eyes closed is the Lord planting an image of the activity of the Holy Spirit to set us free from what we might see in the natural that seeks to control us. “Two” sometimes indicates a “double portion”.

Like the day of Pentecost “the mighty wind and tongues of fire” The Holy Spirit is the wind that carries us and leads us and He is seen in the images of a dove and tongues of fire.

Picture
Joe: Said in the Body of Christ He got his “super peace”. The Lord is constantly feeding Joe with His supernatural peace in CommunionFire. It is not peace that the world gives. In effect He cuts off the weight and tags of this world and replaces it with His peace. Then after drinking the wine, He opened his eyes and saw a single cloud that right in front of him morphed into a perfect shape of a bird!  (When Joe said this someone blurted out, “Joe - look there is not a single cloud in the sky!" (It was perfectly blue). The Holy Spirit seems to appear out of nowhere for a quick visit. Seeing a natural miracle can create a supernatural event in our hearts. In the Song of Solomon we see the Holy Spirit, like a dove in His place of rest, the shadow of the Cross: cleft of the rock is the hiding place on the mountainside. He meets us there, in CommunionFire, to open our eyes to see Jesus and to open our ears to hear His voice!

His voice is sweet and His face is lovely! His presence brings peace that passes understanding. In CommunionFire to see Him and hear His voice for a moment is enough to feed us all day long for the rest of our life! We see and hear and He creates a memory that will last forever.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Picture
Mary: Said after partaking of the Body she saw two tags - "worry" and "perfectionism". The Lord cut them off of her. The weight of them was gone now. In the Wine of the Covenant of Jesus' Blood, The Holy Spirit comforted her saying, 'Steve is okay'. Steve is her husband.

When the Lord cuts us free from things that imprison us He opens the doorway to a whole new view. He specializes in making all things new. He leads us from darkness imposed on us into the light of His glory and grace. When He does He immediately continues to bring relief and comfort from those things that would otherwise, “worry” us. He frees us from the false power of self-created strength to have His power. We let go and He takes the lead.

Picture
Someone else shared, "Hey y'all. This is Pentecost Sunday!  So no wonder we are experiencing the power of the Lord to set us free, feeling the wind of His Spirit and seeing birds in the sky and in the shadows!

They got a message from the Lord, "The Lord showed me that I find my identity by the tags I live with everyday! He said He could cut them from me and would if I wanted Him to. He also said, “But also understand that, when I remove them, there will be changes in your life." They told the Lord that they weren’t sure they were ready for that.

We prayed and shared. We prayed that the Lord would give us all the reassurance we could live "tag-free". Then I felt led to share from a scripture I had randomly opened my Bible to:

Song 2:1-4
She: 1 I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.
He: 2 Like a lily among thorns is my darling among the young women.
She: 3 Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest is my beloved among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste. 4 Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and…

Let his banner over me be His love.

The Bride says she finds her identity like a rose among lilies in the valleys (of the shadows of the Cross). She has been ‘tinted by His blood’ to look like a rose. His Blood was shed because He loves us that much. Then He says He sees us as “a lily among the thorns” of other young women. He identifies us in the midst of all others. Then the Bride sees Him as a fruitful apple tree (very visible) in the forest of all other men. The Bride finds delight only in His shade (the shadows of the Cross where we feed on the fruitfulness of His victory there). We taste, see and know how great His goodness is. The Bride’s heart is surrendered to follow Him; but where? Where does He lead? The Bride says, 'Lead me to your banquet and (the only tag she will ever need) is that His Banner over her is “LOVE”. And so it will be forever!

This tag that replaces ALL others!

The only tag we need is “The Love of Jesus”!

While we were sharing a man stood tall in the sunlight behind Joe. As we were finishing, He said, 'I must share, may I?" I asked, "What is your name sir?" He said Thomas.

He was so excited and couldn't wait to speak to us. He said I was in an accident and was left for dead. I was in a coma for six months and Jesus said one word, "Now"! He spoke loud and strong and in that one word I could hear His intentions. “You cannot come to heaven now. I have a purpose for you on earth. You must go back.”

It’s like the crumb of bread and sip of wine in Communion. When Jesus consecrates it through our thanksgiving and request for His blessing, one crumb becomes has resurrection power to raise us up with Him. One sip may be one word that becomes a lifetime, first hand witness of God's power in redeeming us! Thomas was overjoyed to share with us.

We declared the Apostle's Creed and Joe and Ronnie shared the prayer of St. Michael. It was a very powerful Pentecost Sunday!

The Way of Pentecost: You who are born of the Spirit should walk in the Spirit so as not to fulfill the 'tags' of the flesh for as many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons and daughters of God. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to baptize us into a Spirit-filled life, filled to overflowing with all gifts, blessings and promises and the Fire of Communion with Him. We break the natural bread and drink the natural wine that by His blessing becomes His Flesh and Blood. By this meal we feast on His presence and what He has prepared to share with us. We ask and He gives us our daily, "Day-To-Day" Bread; the bread of His glory He has prepared in order to share His life and love and passion with us, personally, one-on-one as 1st hand witnesses. In His glory we are transformed from glory to glory! Halleluiah! Amen... "Communion ignites us each day to live in the Spirit!" How about you?

Take the Next Exit - The Table is Prepared There
The presence of Jesus brings with him the power of the miraculous. From Anna during worship, "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." Mary shared two original poems that carried the theme of freedom and unending joy after Ronnie led us in singing via Jason Upton's Freedom Reigns. We took a look at Mark 4-5 "For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open."   (Jim and Lori will be back next week as Jim starts to wrap up the book of Revelations.) Then we came round the Table of the Lord to receive what He had prepared for us!
Camille
Dining on The Bread of Life: Saw red and blue gems in a crown

Drinking the Most Precious Blood heard (from the Prayer of Consecration), "As we wait in joyful hope for Jesus our Savior".

Joe
Feasting on the Presence of the Lord: "Got my peace from Jesus - just lifted the weight of the day from my shoulders... ahhhh!"

Anna
Partaking of the Body of the Lord: Saw a floating white cloth and thought it was like the peace of Jesus settling

Partaking of the  Wine of His Blood: Then I saw a field of daisies (the Happy Flower)
Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost

Ronnie
Feasting on the Presence of the Lord: I received quiet peace... then... quiet peace! (double portion!)

Karen
The CommunionFire of His Flesh: Bam Zoom Zing! Flashes of light electric impulses and the saw a tall table with a sheer black table cloth that became white and then tore from top to bottom - like a veil. Then I saw a rocket take off from the table.

The CommunionFire of His Blood: I heard a river. it was a rolling river. Then  heard wheels splashing though the water and somehow knew it was a call to mission with Bernie to care for the homeless women among the men Bernie cares for.

(As if at His Table each veil was removed until I was ready to see the launch of mission. Tonight's the night!)

Mary
While eating the bread and drinking the wine: I saw the Lord's Table and it was "live" i was there across from the Table observing. It looked like the painting but it was real.

Bob
Consuming the Living Bread of His Flesh: I saw the "Angel Express" a silver bullit train - very streamlined and the length of the front of the train angels flying along side that were the length of the first car. Jesus is the engineer. It was sleek and fast. then from the second car I heard the strum of a very loud electric guitar. One strum and all the Angels started singing Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia then strum and alleluia alleluia alleluia. It was beautiful.

Drinking in the Wine of His Precious Blood (have no idea what this means... yet!) The Holy Spirit says, "He has a silver nickel for you you!"

Then we reviewed the prayer wall and prayed. We declared The Apostles Creed and the Prayer of St. Michael. It was a beautiful gathering and our faith is stronger than before we came and the Lord sent us out with love, joy and peace. See you next week! Why don't you pray about hosting a CommunionFire meeting in your home wherever you are! If we can be of help let us know! Thanks LaMena's for being such gracious hosts!
“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name YOU will drive out demons; YOU will speak in new tongues; YOU will pick up snakes with YOUR hands; and when YOU drink deadly poison, it will not hurt YOU at all; YOU will place OUR hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

The Remembrance August 17 2013 Saturday
He Prays For Us and Sends Us Assurance
Camille

In the Bread His Body Broken for Us: I saw the Trinity (Jesus clearly and Father who no one has seen?) and Holy Spirit all in a line in front of me…

In the Cup of Wine His Blood Shed for Us: I saw the Trinity lined up vertically and headed away from me (I said, “Don’t go away Lord!”) and she was reassured.
Bob

In the Bread His Body Broken for Us: I saw Jesus praying hands together pointed to heaven (when He prays then heaven sends blessings, whatever is being prayed for) then praying the same way surrounded by His followers and heaven sends whatever He prays for! He is our intercessor (then and now)

In the Cup of Wine His Blood Shed for Us: The Holy Spirit said, “He sows into your heart” (In the sense that when Jesus prays He sends what we need into our hearts.)
The Overflow (Sharing Our Experiences)

The Alleluia, Experience and Overflow: I prayed for Camille for comfort and for healing and for restoration. Then she saw a further part of the reveal. Where the trinity was heading out, I saw the mountains of Jerusalem and it came to mind “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem so the Lord is round about His people – even forever!”

I got that the Lord is praying for us and we are praying with Him.

Heaven WILL respond to His prayer. As in “Let God arise and His enemies be scattered” thus making room for His blessings to arrive. Clear out the enemy and make room for the Lord! Jesus will rule and reign forever with love, mercy and grace!

“Sometimes His love is so overwhelming that it almost seems like it is too much!” ~ Camille

The Miracle of CommunionFire Where We Find the Tree of Life

5/14/2015

Picture
Tree of the Cross (14th c) Pacino di Bonaguida In this extraordinary work, Pacino di Bonaguida depicts the Cross of Jesus as the Tree of Life. In a cave at the root of the tree lies the devil (his image was scratched out sometime in the 15th century), and at ground level, the Genesis narrative of creation and fall unfolds, indicating that Christ’s death upon this Cross, this tree, sprouted from the seed of Adam and Eve’s sin. Twelve branches sprout from the trunk, symbolizing the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Apostles of Jesus. Hanging from these branches are the fruits of the Crucifixion, and each fruit depicts a scene from the life of Christ. Read left to right, beginning with the bottom branch, these images take the viewer from the Incarnation to the eschaton. By depicting the Crucifixion as the central image among many images, the artist establishes Jesus’ complete gift of self on the Cross as the crowning event in salvation history, yet he also declares that the Cross contains within it the entire breadth of the divine plan for redemption.
Picture
When Jesus dined with the disciples in the Upper Room, He said,

“Do this… to remember Me.”

The Greek word for remember is only used 4 times in all of scripture, in Luke 22 and twice in 1 Corinthians 11 when Jesus is teaching, speaking and demonstrating Communion. The 4th reference is a reference to the blood of Jesus as the only way the demand of death for sin by the law can be satisfied in Hebrews 10. Because of Jesus obedience our sins are totally and eternally remitted and He says I will remember your sins no more! He therefore will never implicate us because of our sin, He will not recall our sin and He will not punish our sin! He paid the total price and cannot punish something that has already been completely punished! His power is to redeem us who are dead in our trespasses and sins!

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. Hebrews 10:17-18

The word is "anamnesis" from ‘anamimnesko’ and where we derive the word, ‘amnesia’. "Remember" means to have the veil of memory loss pulled back to reveal a memory we didn’t know we had, because it was placed there by the Holy Spirit. The root word 'masaomai' means 'to handle and chew, gnaw upon'. We literally 'feed upon' this special revealed memory gift which is made a part of our new creation memory bank!.

Adam’s sin nature is what we are born with and that sinful nature cannot remember what being in the presence of the Lord was like in the Garden of Eden. The fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil has given all who were ever Adam's seed. This sin nature produced “eternal life amnesia”!

Sin clouds and removes any capability for man to desire, comprehend or understand eternal life.

When we eat the Flesh and drink the Blood of Jesus from a simple piece of bread and sip of wine, we dine of food and drink produced from the Tree of Life once guarded and protected by Angels in the Garden of Eden.

The Cross was made of two dead pieces of wood put together as the instrument of death. When Jesus "finished" His work, the lumber took root as His blood soaked the ground below it and the dead wood became the branches of the Tree of Life which would forever be available to all who come to pluck of its fruit for salvation, deliverance, healing and eternal life.

Come to His Table. It is prepared like a gourmet meal perfectly suited to God's love and plan for your life. Taste and see! Literally this meal will open your eyes to get a glimpse of eternal life. Yes, taste and see that the Lord is good!

CommunionFire at DOXA Sunday Morning

A mighty fortress is our God.

I had the pleasure of visiting "DOXA Church" this past Sunday to support our friend Charles Grace who had been asked to led the Communion portion of the service. It was such a wonderful morning. The following is what I experienced while having Communion "In the Doxa of Jesus".

(DOXA=Glory!) http://biblehub.com/parallel/2_corinthians/3-18.htm

Do we know he power of Communion?

Do we know the resident power of the Bread of Blessing, His flesh broken for us?

Do we know the power of the Wine of the Covenant, His Blood we drink?

In Communion this past Sunday I saw the Walls of Jericho. They were mighty, thick walls of stone that stood to defy me having Communion or experiencing CommunionFire. Amazing because the Lord was showing me this while having Communion.

Yet as I ate and drank, the power of God resident in the bread and wine caused those walls in my life to crumble like a sand castle hit by the mighty waves of the vast ocean of His grace.

The overflow was this: To know the dominion of the mighty fortress of my relationship with Jesus - we must keep coming back to the Lord's Table to receive the ongoing life of the bread and wine of His Flesh and Blood.

When we do nothing, our walls can stand in opposition to our relationship with Him. In fact any obstacle that stands between you and the life and love Jesus wants to share with you is but sand in the face of the mighty waves of His powerful grace.  Coming to His Table will reduce any obstacle to His love into nothingness; as though it never exited. His love conquers all.

So shall it be in that glorious day when all is said and done. He wipes all tears from our eyes and any memory of what is bad, evil or wrong. He will even be creating a new heaven and new earth with just a whisper. And even today you can know the victory of the Cross at The Table of the Lord! His love, grace and goodness is the one constant you can totally depend on.

What are your walls of Jericho that keep you from seeing the mighty fortress Jesus has become for you?

Allow the power of Communion to feed you so that the waves of grace can pour into your life like mighty waves from the ocean of His love. On earth is not His equal!

Is CommunionFire in The Shepherd's Psalm?

5/10/2015

Picture
Asked by a pastoral leader if I believed that Psalm 23
is about Communion and CommunionFire.
Here is my response.

A Psalm of David

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

Jesus is our shepherd. He is the good shepherd. He wants to lead and guide us every day so that we can have a deepening relationship with Him. It is His goodness that got our attention. It was His goodness that gave us the courage to change our mind and view to come to Him. King David had been a shepherd, so he had a shepherd’s heart. He knew how important it was to the sheep to have a good shepherd. So, the first thing He says about the Good Shepherd is that…
Picture
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

He causes us to lay down and stretch out. Perhaps like my experience in the laundry room. His waves of love, the wind of the Spirit is so strong that it causes us to yield. We need to lie down. He wants us to know that we can trust him for everything. As long as we are in charge we won’t know the depths and lengths he will go to to reassure us that when we are with Him we will have need for nothing.

When we lie down it is in green pastures. The green pasture, to the sheep, is good food. It’s like a gourmet meal prepared to our taste. Sheep lie down and munch on the grass while they recline. The disciples didn’t sit down for His Last Supper with them. They were reclining at the Table. That’s how they ate common meals. They stretched out at the table, watched the Savior and listened to His final words.

His pasture comes complete with a source of spring fed still waters. Most are familiar with stormy seas and drinking from ‘strange’ waters most of our life.

The Lord, our Good Shepherd knows that his sheep are in such a delicate balance that if the waters stir at all they will be frightened by being reminded of past difficulties. So He whispers, “Shhh, lay down. Feed on what I provide you and drink until you are totally refreshed.”

So what is the good Shepherd up to?

By making us lie down from doing everything in our own strength, He can restore us to become the person He always intended us to be. Only He can bring transformation. We don’t know how to transform ourselves and even if we did we wouldn't know how to go about it. It requires His great grace and love. He causes us to rest in his Shalom. We rest in the peaceful landscape that He provides for us. This is a peace that we always hoped for. We sigh and say, “Thank you Lord.”

So what is He doing while we rest in his presence? While we feed on heaven’s green grass and drink from heaven’s springs of water...

Picture
3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

He is reconciling us to Himself. He is restoring and reviving us with His life. He is making us strong enough to get up and follow Him because He has a place He wants to lead us to. He has prepared something wonderful but only He knows how to lead us there. He is the way. When we follow His voice we learn the truth about this new life.

Remember in Revelation 3:20 how He dines with us and then we dine with Him? When He dines with us that is a time when He feeds on all we have to share with Him, our sins and sorrows. At our table Jesus shares His love and compassion for all of our stories and anything we place before him on our table. He helps us to realize that we are forgiven totally and free from all shame, condemnation and guilt. He wants to reassure us that we can’t surprise Him with anything He hasn’t heard or seen before. When He dines at our table He cleans the hard drive of all viruses and wipes away the potential for any more Trojan horses. He reasons together with us and our sins become white as snow.

That is when He leads us to the green pastures and still waters to restore us. We’ve been through a lot and he wants us to know he has been with us every step f the way. Now He wants to heal, deliver and restore us with heaven’s food and drink. He wants us to cease from our ways and learn His ways.

Once we are restored some, He gives us the strength to stand up and follow Him. He leads us and we follow. We walk in His paths of righteousness. We get up and walk the ancient paths of Christian faith walked by billions of other believers before us. The trails are so well worn that they look like furrows. They are only wide enough for one sheep at a time. Along the way we learn about Jesus and who He is. We find out that He is not just the Good Shepherd but he is also our Righteousness. He is our Healer, Deliverer, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. We learn He is the Word made Flesh, The Lamb Slain as payment for all our sin. He is our King and the only wise God; our High Priest, the Lord of hosts and Creator of the universe, seen and unseen.

As we walk with and follow Him, we observe Him and listen to Him and talk to one another about Him. We learn that we are His. He has made us a part of His family. We learn that we are part of His name’s sake.

We understand that we are become the righteousness of God in Him.
In these paths of the righteous Jesus is leading us to a destination.

But where is He leading?
What destination does he have in mind?
Jesus wants us to know everything about Him and…

Picture
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

These paths cross over brooks in the valley as well as upon rocks in high places. As He leads us He makes us fully aware that death is just a shadow and that His love drives away all fear. We pass through the shadows of His Cross where He won the final victory over sin, hell and death. We learn this as we follow Him.

Shadows that used to enslave us in fears. They were fears of darkness and death that are broken as we share light of His countenance. Now we watch Him deal with our enemies and our nature to wander away from the path.

We know that as long as we are with Him we have the comfort, reassurance and confidence that He will drive away the enemy with one end of his staff and gently nudge us in the right direction with the other end. Comfort in the shadows, in the faces of evil and in His ability to help us arrive safely at our destination.

What is this destination? Where is He faithfully and gently leading us to?

You turn the final corner and there it is in all its glory! In the wilderness of this life the Lord has gone before us and we find out…

Picture
5 You “prepare a table before me” in the presence of my enemies; There, You have anoint my head with oil and my cup overflows!

Since the days He dined with me at my Table when I invited Him in because I heard His voice calling my name and His hand knocking on the door at my address I finally arrived at His Table! It took 40 years! His destination all those years was one place. It was the destination of His entire ministry. He said how much He looked forward to having this Passover with His disciples. Jesus prepared the room, the table and the meal. In the middle of the meal the disciples were to discover the destination for every believer after His resurrection, ascension and the sending of the Holy Spirit.

The meaning of the journey? It is the glorious Table of God!

He invited you in Revelation 3:20 and led you from The Cross of Psalm 22 to His Table in Psalm 23 to The coming of the Lord of Hosts in Psalm 24. He makes us strong enough to follow Him here, everyday if we continue to let Him lead us. This is what He has in mind for us every day. This is where you feed on Heaven’s Bread and drink Heaven’s Wine. He has led us from our table in the old life to the new table of the life to come.

Jesus invited us.
He prepared us.

He leads us here through the valley of the shadows of his death so that we might become partakers of all His great and precious promises and by them His divine nature!

We pass through death to be raised up a new creation in Him.
He has prepared a seat with your name on it.
He not only prepares the Table he also prepares the meal.

He wants us to feed on the bread of life and drink from the river of life. We realize it is no longer us that live but Jesus that lives inside us. When we eat His food we are clothed in His righteousness and we experience Christ in us the hope of glory full of grace and truth.

We also discover that the meal is very special.

Like the lamb slain for the children of Israel on Passover, Jesus is the Word made flesh. He is the Lamb of God that
all the other lambs pointed to. Like the chosen people that we are by His grace we are offered the invitation to eat the flesh of the Lamb of God and to drink His Blood.

Jesus not only prepared the Table and The Meal, He is The Meal.

When we feed on Him as He invites us to, “Do this to remember Me.” Something happens. This is not “bread alone”, it is the Word become flesh. We eat every bit of His body so that our blind eyes are replaced by His eyes to see him. When we feed on Him our deaf ears are suddenly opened to hear His voice more clearly than any other voice in creation. When feast on the flesh of Jesus we become partakers of His DNA!

His Body and Blood ignite us with the fire of His love and passion for us.
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is in you quickening your mortal body.

His Holy Bread is medicine and when torn in half and eaten it is like pulling back the veil of our blindness to reveal His glory. Feeding on the flesh of Jesus is to see with the eyes of our spirit, inner-vision, and feast on His presence and His image, His truth and His love.

When we drink the Precious Blood of the Lamb, we are getting a heavenly transfusion to have His life pumping through our veins. As it flows into us and into our spirit we hear His voice. His Blood opens our spiritual ears and He speaks to us. This is called inner-locution or hearing inwardly.

So when we dine with Him we dine upon Him.
When we do He opens our eyes to recognize Him and our ears to hear Him.

He anoints our head with the oil of revelation. When we see Him, He anoints us to be able to see what He wants to share with us and to hear the message He has prepared for us. This is CommunionFire and it is the entire destination and truth of Psalm 23. Our ongoing journey in following Jesus is rekindled every time we come to His Table to eat the meal He has prepared for us. The meal provides us with salvation, healing, deliverance and eternal life but most of all is how our relationship deepens with the Lord Jesus.

When we eat the physical meal He provides, it connects us to a spiritual meal. When the veil of what is temporal is pulled back, we encounter his glory. This becomes our spiritual feast.

We encounter His glory “as in the dark glass” of a digital screen. While we do as Jesus asked at His Table, the Holy Spirit “fires up” the heavenly images and apps. “The screen has fire!” Its light allows us to see and encounter and experience the life Jesus wants to share with us. He shows us what is hidden to others who do not know Him or Commune with Him at His Table. We can hear the sound of His voice and the singing of the angels. We can hear the brook that babbles and the leaves of the trees that clap their hands in praise to Him. When we see His image in that glory we are transformed from glory to glory by the Spirit who is The Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

When we encounter His presence through the meal He provides, the cup of our heart overflows.

Pulsing through our intellect and determination are things that cannot be explained only appreciated. Our spirit is awakened like a stringed instrument and the song of the turtledove is heard in a new land. We taste and see that the Lord is good. We find out He withholds nothing from those who realize that He is in charge. Our life is hid with Christ in God.  From the overflow at the Table others see…

Picture
6 His Goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

He did not come to condemn us but that through Him we might ‘find’ eternal life. We feast on His presence through His torn, holy flesh that we eat and the poured out wine of His precious blood that we drink.

When we ask Jesus to bless and consecrate the bread and wine, He does. It is no longer just grazing in a pasture of grass and water. The grass of the field becomes the living medicine of His flesh, the bread of life and the living wine of His blood that intoxicates us with the reality of eternal life.

His goodness spills from us to those around us and his grace is upon us like the aroma of heaven that awakens faith in others. When we are present they sense that we have been with Him. His presence in our life makes him real to others. When we even touch someone or someone with needs gets near us they may be healed, touched and awakened to new life in Jesus.

The Table King David sang about, that Jesus prepared and the Good Shepherd leads us to is just a glimmer of the Wedding Feast being prepared for us at His House where we will live forever.

From the kindness of Dr. Mark Virkler we are authorized to share this with you from his 30 years of "CommunionFire" - like experiences and that of his wife Patti.

How to Hear God's Voice

She had done it again! Instead of coming straight home from school like she was supposed to, she had gone to her friend’s house. Without permission. Without our knowledge. Without doing her chores.

With a ministering household that included remnants of three struggling families plus our own toddler and newborn, my wife simply couldn't handle all the work on her own. Everyone had to pull their own weight. Everyone had age-appropriate tasks they were expected to complete. At fourteen, Rachel and her younger brother were living with us while her parents tried to overcome lifestyle patterns that had resulted in the children running away to escape the dysfunction. I felt sorry for Rachel, but, honestly my wife was my greatest concern.

Now Rachel had ditched her chores to spend time with her friends. It wasn't the first time, but if I had anything to say about it, it would be the last. I intended to lay down the law when she got home and make it very clear that if she was going to live under my roof, she would obey my rules.

But…she wasn't home yet. And I had recently been learning to hear God’s voice more clearly. Maybe I should try to see if I could hear anything from Him about the situation. Maybe He could give me a way to get her to do what she was supposed to (i.e. what I wanted her to do). So I went to my office and reviewed what the Lord had been teaching me from Habakkuk 2:1, 2:

“I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me…Then the Lord answered me and said, ‘Record the vision'.”

Habakkuk said, "I will stand on my guard post."

The 1st Key to hearing God's voice is to:
Go to a quiet place and still our own thoughts and emotions.
The first key to hearing God's voice is to go to a quiet place
and still our own thoughts and emotions.

Psalm 46:10 encourages us to be still, let go, cease striving, and know that He is God.
In Psalm 37:7 we are called to “be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”

There is a deep inner knowing in our spirits that each of us can experience when we quiet our flesh and our minds. Practicing the art of biblical meditation helps silence the outer noise and distractions clamoring for our attention.

I didn't have a guard post but I did have an office, so I went there to quiet my temper and my mind. Loving God through a quiet worship song is one very effective way to become still. In 2 Kings 3, Elisha needed a word from the Lord so he said, “Bring me a minstrel,” and as the minstrel played, the Lord spoke. I have found that playing a worship song on my auto harp is the quickest way for me to come to stillness. I need to choose my song carefully; boisterous songs of praise do not bring me to stillness, but rather gentle songs that express my love and worship. And it isn't enough just to sing the song into the cosmos – I come into the Lord’s presence most quickly and easily when I use my Godly imagination to see the truth that He is right here with me and I sing my songs to Him, personally.

“I will keep watch to see,” said the prophet. To receive the pure word of God, it is very important that my heart be properly focused as I become still, because my focus is the source of the intuitive flow. If I fix my eyes upon Jesus (Hebrews 12:2), the intuitive flow comes from Jesus. But if I fix my gaze upon some desire of my heart, the intuitive flow comes out of that desire. To have a pure flow I must become still and carefully fix my eyes upon Jesus. Quietly worshiping the King and receiving out of the stillness that follows quite easily accomplishes this.

The 2nd Key to hearing God’s voice:
As you pray, fix the eyes of your heart upon Jesus,

So I used the second key to hearing God’s voice: As you pray, fix the eyes of your heart upon Jesus, seeing in the Spirit the dreams and visions of Almighty God. Habakkuk was actually looking for vision as he prayed. He opened the eyes of his heart, and looked into the spirit world to see what God wanted to show him.

God has always spoken through dreams and visions, and He specifically said that they would come to those upon whom the Holy Spirit is poured out (Acts 2:1-4, 17).

Being a logical, rational person, observable facts that could be verified by my physical senses were the foundations of my life, including my spiritual life. I had never thought of opening the eyes of my heart and looking for vision. However, I have come to believe that this is exactly what God wants me to do. He gave me eyes in my heart to see in the spirit the vision and movement of Almighty God. There is an active spirit world all around us, full of angels, demons, the Holy Spirit, the omnipresent Father, and His omnipresent Son, Jesus. The only reasons for me not to see this reality are unbelief or lack of knowledge.

In his sermon in Acts 2:25, Peter refers to King David’s statement: “I saw the Lord always in my presence; for He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken.” The original Psalm makes it clear that this was a decision of David’s, not a constant supernatural visitation: “I have set (literally, I have placed) the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken” (Psalm.16:8). Because David knew that the Lord was always with him, he determined in his spirit to see that truth with the eyes of his heart as he went through life, knowing that this would keep his faith strong.

In order to see, we must look. Daniel saw a vision in his mind and said, "I was looking...I kept looking...I kept looking" (Dan. 7:2, 9, 13). As I pray, I look for Jesus, and I watch as He speaks to me, doing and saying the things that are on His heart. Many Christians will find that if they will only look, they will see. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us (Matt. 1:23). It is as simple as that. You can see Christ present with you because Christ is present with you. In fact, the vision may come so easily that you will be tempted to reject it, thinking that it is just you. But if you persist in recording these visions, your doubt will soon be overcome by faith as you recognize that the content of them could only be birthed in Almighty God.

Jesus demonstrated the ability of living out of constant contact with God, declaring that He did nothing on His own initiative, but only what He saw the Father doing, and heard the Father saying (John 5:19,20,30). What an incredible way to live!

Is it possible for us to live out of divine initiative as Jesus did? Yes! We must simply fix our eyes upon Jesus. The veil has been torn, giving access into the immediate presence of God, and He calls us to draw near (Luke. 23:45; Hebrews. 10:19-22). “I pray that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened….”

When I had quieted my heart enough that I was able to picture Jesus without the distractions of my own ideas and plans, I was able to “keep watch to see what He will speak to me.”

I wrote down my question: “Lord, what should I do about Rachel?” Immediately the thought came to me, “She is insecure.” Well, that certainly wasn't my thought! Her behavior looked like rebellion to me, not insecurity.

But like Habakkuk, I was coming to know the sound of God speaking to me (Habakkuk 2:2). Elijah described it as a still, small voice (I Kings 19:12). I had previously listened for an inner audible voice, and God does speak that way at times. However, I have found that usually, God's voice comes as spontaneous thoughts, visions, feelings, or impressions.

For example, haven't you been driving down the road and had a thought come to you to pray for a certain person? Didn't you believe it was God telling you to pray? What did God's voice sound like? Was it an audible voice, or was it a spontaneous thought that lit upon your mind?

Experience indicates that we perceive spirit-level communication as spontaneous thoughts, impressions and visions, and Scripture confirms this in many ways. For example, one definition of paga, a Hebrew word for intercession, is "a chance encounter or an accidental intersecting." When God lays people on our hearts, He does it through paga, a chance-encounter thought “accidentally” intersecting our minds.

The 3rd Key to hearing God’s voice is: Recognizing that God's voice
in your heart often sounds like a flow of spontaneous thoughts.
So the third key to hearing God’s voice is recognizing that God's voice in your heart often sounds like a flow of spontaneous thoughts. Therefore, when I want to hear from God, I tune to chance-encounter or spontaneous thoughts.

Finally, God told Habakkuk to record the vision (Habakkuk 2:2). This was not an isolated command. The Scriptures record many examples of individual’s prayers and God’s replies, such as the Psalms, many of the prophets, and Revelation. I have found that obeying this final principle amplified my confidence in my ability to hear God’s voice so that I could finally make living out of His initiatives a way of life.

The 4th Key is "two-way journaling" or writing down
or keeping a journal of your prayers and God’s answers.
The fourth key, two-way journaling or the writing out of your prayers and God’s answers, brings great freedom in hearing God’s voice.

I have found two-way journaling to be a fabulous catalyst for clearly discerning God's inner, spontaneous flow, because as I journal I am able to write in faith for long periods of time, simply believing it is God. I know that what I believe I have received from God must be tested. However, testing involves doubt and doubt blocks divine communication, so I do not want to test while I am trying to receive. (See James 1:5-8.) With journaling, I can receive in faith, knowing that when the flow has ended I can test and examine it carefully.

So I wrote down what I believed He had said: “She is insecure.” But the Lord wasn't done. I continued to write the spontaneous thoughts that came to me: “Love her unconditionally. She is flesh of your flesh and bone of your bone.”

My mind immediately objected: She is not flesh of my flesh. She is not related to me at all – she is a foster child, just living in my home temporarily. It was definitely time to test this “word from the Lord”!

There are three possible sources of thoughts in our minds: ourselves, satan and the Holy Spirit. It was obvious that the words in my journal did not come from my own mind – (I certainly didn't see her as insecure or flesh of my flesh.) And I sincerely doubted that satan would encourage me to love anyone unconditionally!

Okay, it was starting to look like I might have actually received counsel from the Lord. It was consistent with the names and character of God as revealed in the Scripture, and totally contrary to the names and character of the enemy. So that meant that I was hearing from the Lord, and He wanted me to see the situation in a different light. Rachel was my daughter – part of my family not by blood but by the hand of God Himself. The chaos of her birth home had created deep insecurity about her worthiness to be loved by anyone, including me and including God. Only the unconditional love of the Lord expressed through an imperfect human would reach her heart.

But there was still one more test I needed to perform before I would have absolute confidence that this was truly God’s word to me: I needed confirmation from someone else whose spiritual discernment I trusted. So I went to my wife and shared what I had received. I knew if I could get her validation, especially since she was the one most wronged in the situation, then I could say, at least to myself, “Thus sayeth the Lord.”

Needless to say, Patti immediately and without question confirmed that the Lord had spoken to me. My entire planned lecture was forgotten. I returned to my office anxious to hear more. As the Lord planted a new, supernatural love for Rachel within me, He showed me what to say and how to say it to not only address the current issue of household responsibility, but the deeper issues of love and acceptance and worthiness.

Rachel and her brother remained as part of our family for another two years, giving us many opportunities to demonstrate and teach about the Father’s love, planting spiritual seeds in thirsty soil. We weren't perfect and we didn't solve all of her issues, but because I had learned to listen to the Lord, we were able to avoid creating more brokenness and separation.

The four simple keys that the Lord showed me from Habakkuk have been used by people of all ages, from four to a hundred and four, from every continent, culture and denomination, to break through into intimate two-way conversations with their loving Father and dearest Friend. Omitting any one of the keys will prevent you from receiving all He wants to say to you. The order of the keys is not important, just that you use them all. Embracing all four, by faith, can change your life. Simply quiet yourself down, tune to spontaneity, look for vision, and journal. He is waiting to meet you there.

You will be amazed when you journal! Doubt may hinder you at first, but throw it off, reminding yourself that it is a biblical concept, and that God is present, speaking to His children. Relax. When we cease our labors and enter His rest, God is free to flow (Hebrews 4:10).

Why not try it for yourself, right now? Sit back comfortably, take out your pen and paper, and smile. Turn your attention toward the Lord in praise and worship, seeking His face. Many people have found the music and visionary prayer called “A Stroll Along the Sea of Galilee” helpful in getting them started. You can listen to it and download it free at www.CWGMinistries.org/Galilee.

After you write your question to Him, become still, fixing your gaze on Jesus. You will suddenly have a very good thought. Don't doubt it; simply write it down. Later, as you read your journaling, you, too, will be blessed to discover that you are indeed having a dialogue with God. If you wonder if it is really the Lord speaking to you, share it with your spouse or a friend. Their input will encourage your faith and strengthen your commitment to spend time getting to know the Lover of your soul more intimately than you ever dreamed possible.

Is It Really God?

Five ways to be sure what you're hearing is from Him:

1) Test the Origin (1 John. 4:1)
Thoughts from our own minds are progressive, with one thought leading to the next, however tangentially. Thoughts from the spirit world are spontaneous. The Hebrew word for true prophecy is naba, which literally means to bubble up, whereas false prophecy is ziyd meaning to boil up. True words from the Lord will bubble up from our innermost being; we don’t need to cook them up ourselves.

2) Compare It to Biblical Principles
God will never say something to you personally which is contrary to His universal revelation as expressed in the Scriptures. If the Bible clearly states that something is a sin, no amount of journaling can make it right. Much of what you journal about will not be specifically addressed in the Bible, however, so an understanding of biblical principles is also needed.

3) Compare It to the Names and Character of God as Revealed in the Bible
Anything God says to you will be in harmony with His essential nature. "Journaling" will help you get to know God personally, but knowing what the Bible says about Him will help you discern what words are from Him. Make sure the tenor of your journaling lines up with the character of God as described in the names of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

4) Test the Fruit (Matthew. 7:15-20)
What effect does what you are hearing have on your soul and your spirit? Words from the Lord will quicken your faith and increase your love, peace and joy. They will stimulate a sense of humility within you as you become more aware of Who God is and who you are. On the other hand, any words you receive which cause you to fear or doubt, which bring you into confusion or anxiety, or which stroke your ego (especially if you hear something that is “just for you alone – no one else is worthy”) must be immediately rebuked and rejected as lies of the enemy.

5) Share It with Your Spiritual Counselors (Proverbs 11:14)
We are members of a Body! A cord of three strands is not easily broken and God’s intention has always been for us to grow together. Nothing will increase your faith in your ability to hear from God like having it confirmed by two or three other people! Share it with your spouse, your parents, your friends, your elder, your group leader, even your grown children can be your sounding board. They don’t need to be perfect or super-spiritual; they just need to love you, be committed to being available to you, have a solid biblical orientation, and most importantly, they must also willingly and easily receive counsel. Avoid the authoritarian who insists that because of their standing in the church or with God, they no longer need to listen to others. Find two or three people and let them confirm that you are hearing from God!

Communion With God Ministries: http://www.cwgministries.org/meet-the-founders

We thank you Mark for allowing us to share this. It is totally consistent with what we encounter at the Table of the Lord. Seeing, hearing and understanding in the overflow as well as journaling is what we understand in 2 Corinthians 3:18 "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord who is the Spirit."

Mark also is an advocate of The Apostle's Creed which is also consistent with how the Lord has led us. Often we include The Apostle's Creed when we share the Lord's Table. Its a great historic statement that unites us to 2,000 years of Christ followers and keeps it personal, "I believe".

A Rather Amazing Morning - Fire From CommunionFire

5/4/2015

Picture
In our Daily Communion this morning the Lord spoke to me in the Bread about 'building houses every day' then the tide of daily events and sleep wash away what was built yesterday because "He builds new houses every day". In the Wine the Lord said, "Build upon Me i am a sure foundation." The Lord spoke to Camille about Passover and how the size of the house determined the size of the Lamb. If the Lamb was too big you had to invite neighbors. Exodus 12:4 then in the Wine of the Precious Blood The Holy Spirit said, "The Wine Is All About the Wedding!"

We need to be ready for the Wedding by feeding on the Lamb! If you are sick today there is healing in the bread. It becomes the bread of medicine. If you need to make a serious decision the Piece of Lamb you eat becomes His wisdom that you feed on. Feeding on Jesus and drinking from Him builds us up supernaturally. But remember. We do this to remember Him. In effect not to forget about Him. So we need to feed on Him every day. Its how He shares His life and love and how we are transformed.

In the Overflow we got the following. Took all day to put together. i hope you will apply yourself to study it a little. Its good food and helps to uncover how clear it is that when the Early Church Broke Bread it was from House to house and it was Communion, the spiritual meal not breakfast, lunch or dinner - that happened after. Jesus had ascended, the church was just baptized in the Holy Spirit and this is the lifestyle that solidified the new city of God on earth. Let Jesus do the building. He knows what He is doing. Come empty handed ready to receive from Him.
ACTS 2 The Lifestyle of the New City of God was a Daily Communion-Centric Society.

42 And they devoted themselves continuously to the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, to the A) breaking of bread and prayers. 43 And a sense of awe came upon every soul, and many B) wonders and C) signs were being done through the hands of the apostles. 44And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

46And day by day, attending the temple together and D) breaking bread from E) F) house to E) G) house, they ate their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

ACTS 2: 42-43
And they devoted themselves continuously to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the hands of the apostles.

They continued Steadfastly (Day-to-Day) in (Constant, Communion-Centric Living):

Apostle’s Doctrine/Teaching “Christ in you the hope of Glory” in you as in eating His Flesh and drinking His Blood,
Fellowship: Koinonia – Together for the purpose of Communion,
Breaking Bread* ‘breaking in pieces bread to distribute in Communion and
Prayers: Proseuche – “praying in the Spirit” wherever you are, outdoors, indoors while working to cultivate day-to-day Communion with the Lord, as in the overflow of CommunionFire.

*A)   BREAKING: Klasis – Breaking in pieces to distribute
Only Occurs 2x in the Bible: Luke 24:35 (first communion) and Acts 2:42

B)   WONDERS: Teras - Of uncertain affinity; a prodigy or omen

C)   SIGNS: Sēmeíon – a sign (typically miraculous), given especially to confirm, corroborate or authenticate. ("sign") then emphasizes the end-purpose which exalts the one giving it. Accordingly, it is used dozens of times in the NT for what authenticates the Lord and His eternal purpose, especially by doing what mere man cannot replicate of take credit for.

The New Testament Life Style of the New City of God was Communion-Centric! Its how Jesus chooses to share His presence with us and demonstrate that He is alive and among us continuing His ministry! When Daily or Constant Communion is your life and the lifestyle of others you fellowship with there is a growing sense of awe because of how clearly Jesus demonstrates His power among us. There is a constant outpouring of things He shares with us that He creates a sense of total wonder about eternal life and the life that we nw live by the faith f the Son of God.

ACTS 2:46
Day by day continuing with one mind and heart in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and singleness of heart

D)   BREAKING: Klao = break in pieces and distribute actual bread
(Only used 14 times and always refers to bread that is “blessed” and received with “thanksgiving” including the miracles o the loaves and fishes.)

E)   1: House: Oikos “Where The Breaking of the Bread takes place” House, Dwelling (full phrase from house to house = oikos)

F)   2: House: Kata - Higher to lower plane with terminus (end point) daily

G)   3: House: Metalambano – “Aggressively Take with Initiative” that brings certain change – metamorphosis, new creation, transformation

Consider “F” and “G” In Biblical Greek there are ‘parallel’ meanings. The same word or phrase can have a topical meaning (temporal understanding) and intentional meaning (the spiritual understanding as to why the selected scripture is understood for its eternal value.) In the phrase ‘breaking bread’ from “House to House” we have just that scenario. “House to House” in effect, has 3 dimensions to it. All three words are involved in translating this phrase.

Oikos: Temporal Brick and Mortar “The Communion House” Where We Find the Table of the Lord and the meal He has prepared. The Bread of Life broken in pieces for distribution and the Wine of Life poured out into the Cup o the New Covenant.

Kata: Becomes the Spiritual “CommunionFire House” where (upper level) heaven pours out the “Fire” Light or Glory of Heaven (Jesus Christ) coming down to our level into the bread and wine that is offered

Metalambano: Becomes the Spiritual “Transformation House” where those who gather aggressively to receive the Bread of His Body and Wine of His Blood (as if it is a priority  and necessity) in order to encounter the presence and image of the Lord that has the power to transform our lives to be like His.

Only at His Table Is the Bread His Flesh and the Wine His Blood
Seek first the Kingdom. How? On earth as in heaven... How?
Come to His Table and ask for your Day-to-Day bread.

This is a recent response to a comment left to one of our posts.

Thanks for your comment about daily Communion.

We are working on completing a book on Constant Communion called "Be Bold Believe" and hope it will inspire at least weekly Communion.

John Wesley uses the term "Have you communicated today?" He interchanges the word "communicated" for Communion.

He points out that the Eucharist should be a regular Christian practice of faith - if possible at least 4 times per week but preferably daily.

Jesus taught Communion as a daily practice of prayer responding to the disciples when they asked, "Lord, teach us to pray."

When He answered He basically said, "pray" this way.

'Our Father in heaven, Your name means everything that is holy!
Make your kingdom the determining factor in our life
As real to us on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us each day our "day-to-day" bread.
Forgive us when we trespass
Just as you have taught us to forgive others when they trespass against us.
Keep us from being led by temptation but recover us when evil prevails.'

Before teaching this Jesus makes it very clear the "daily day-to-day bread" is not physical because He said 'don't pray like those who look fr the attention of men and not God by praying in public for worldly, daily, physical needs because your Father knows what you need before you pray.

Instead pray this way: (The Our Father). The day-to-day bread had not yet been revealed as His Body and Blood - but He was preparing the disciples for the miracle of CommunionFire. Coming to the Table is the greatest "prayer" we can do.

When we "do this", we look to the meal of our bread and wine becoming the meal of His Flesh and Blood.

When we dine on the physical consecrated by prayer it takes on the nature of Christ being transformed by the Holy Spirit. This meal opens our eyes to what the world cannot see or hear in the Glory of the presence of Jesus.

When we encounter Him with the eyes of our spirit in the living bread of His Body and the ears of our spirit in the wine of His Blood, like the bread and wine, we are transformed from glory to glory. Encountering the image of Jesus and hearing His voice transforms us.

In effect, Communion leads us into CommunionFire or the Glory of Christ's presence. It is there we can see Him and hear Him. When we do we are never the same again.

Day-to-Day Bread is the Meal of Heaven prepared by Jesus. It is because He is our "Bread of Life". It is our shared Agape Meal. We feed on what appears to be bread and wine but miraculously it becomes His flesh and blood.

When we feed on Him we encounter the reality of heaven on earth. (on earth as it is in heaven).

This meal is also His provision for:

* Recovering us from the grip of evil
* The breaking of the power of temptations we might 'feed on' outside of of the practice of His presence
* And giving us a forgiving heart to forgive others as He has forgiven us.

It all leads back to His Table and being consumed by His meal.

"Give us this day" literally means each calendar day! In other words, "daily communion".

We somehow need 21 meals a week to keep our physical body happy why shouldn't we at least give our spirit a crumb from the loaf of life and a sip from the vineyard of the angels once per day!

This bread feeds us eternally and this drink refreshes us eternally. The food we eat to sustain our body only lasts until the next meal.

Given the choice which meal feeds us with the greatest nutritional value?

This was a Campus Crusader who wanted Early Church authenticity - I was called into the ministry under the street preaching of this wonderful Man of God in Berkeley, CA in 1971. He was a founder of God's Love household for Street Christians, the publisher of the Jesus People's Movement called "Right On" and through an amazing series of transformations throughout his ministry He was a founder of The University of Orthodox Theology (now called St. Athanasius Academy of Orthodox Theology) and oversaw the creation of The Orthodox Study Bible before the Lord moved him to his new address in heaven. Thanks Fr. Jack N. Sparks, Ph.D The Witness of Jack and his estimed Associates from Grace Haven Farms, New Covenant Apostolic Order, The Evangelical Orthodox Churches and theis eventual assimilation into the Antiochian Orthodox Church of America is truely one of the Great Church Histories of the 20th and 21st Century.

Luke 3:16 "He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire."  Ask Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire today.
Another significant influence in my life is the life and ministry of Winkey Pratney. His lifelong commitment to the study and application of Revival as both an apologist and polemicist raised the bar for me and he accomplished what I only dreamed - to Produce the Revival Study Bible. He has also been an intrinsic Man of God from the days of the Jesus People Movement and a part of my experience as a visiting teacher at Christ for the Nations in Dallas in 1975 and one of the principles in Y.W.A.M. Youth With A Mission that has had a direct impact on my sister, daughters, nephews and grandchildren. Thanks Brother Winkey for the legacy you have deposited into my life and the life of so many others.
